Christian Education

Trinity Lutheran Church offers a variety of Christian Education opportunities.

• Sunday School*

  • Every Sunday at 9:45 am at Dance Etc School of the Arts, Trinity offers Sunday School for children - toddlers through 8th grade.

    • Toddler Time - Teaches basic good news truths of the Bible to toddlers and pre-schoolers through story and activities.

    • Kindergarten - 2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, 6th-8th grade classes train school age children in the stories and doctrine of the Bible while looking to increase their faith and equip them to witness their faith throughout their lives.

  • Every Sunday at 10:00 am at Dance Etc School of the Arts, Trinity offers Sunday School for teens and adults.

    • Teen Bible class (meets periodically throughout the year) looks to strengthen teens in their Biblical knowledge and faith expression.

*During the summer months (June, July, and August) Sunday School is replaced with “19 minutes with Luther” Bible study at church starting at 10:00 am.

• Marriage Live!

• This is a quarterly marriage "advance" (advance because we don't retreat and run away, but press forward!), intended for all couples who either have a fantastic marriage and want to make it better, have a mediocre marriage and want to strengthen it, or have a very difficult marriage and are looking for help. In other words, it is for everyone! At this advance we will focus on one pillar of creating a strong and God pleasing marriage, and take away some practical plans to apply it.

• Confirmation

  • The class intends to confirm young people in the faith of their baptism, bringing them relevant meaning for life and fervent faith for the Christian walk through studying God’s Word.

  • Confirmation Sunday this year is May 16, 2010 at the 11:15 am service.

• Men's Bible Study

  • This study takes place at 10:00 am on the first Saturday of each month at the Ikea restaurant in Woodbridge.

• Bible Information Classes

  • Classes review the basic teachings of the Bible and the chief teachings of the Christian faith. This class is open to all people in our church and in the community. You don't have to be a member of our church to take this course!
    
    This class runs only when there is an interest expressed. Pastor is more than willing to set up a class for you, your family, or friends at any time and at any place. There is no cost for this course. If you are interested in joining our church, this course is geared especially for you. To enroll, please contact Pastor to set up a time.
