Visiting Trinity for Worship

We are excited to meet you and to help you feel right at home, here is some information about our worship service and what to expect.

Our worship services begin at 8:30 am and 11:15 am with Sunday School in between at 9:45 am.

Getting Here

We are currently worshiping at the Old Bethel United Methodist Church building. This is the little white church behind the brick church located at 13506 Minnieville Road, Woodbridge, Virginia. There are two entrances to the church parking lot, one off of Smoketown Road, the other off of Minnieville Road. Look for the white and blue welcome signs.

You may park your car where it is most convenient for you. The brick walkway entrance to the white church building is on the south side (some bricks in the walk way may be uneven so please be careful). Greeters will meet you at the entrance to welcome you and hand you a church bulletin. At the end of the walkway and up five steps are the church doors. Being a historical building built in the 1850s, restrooms are located in the lobby of the United Methodist Church building across the parking lot.

Worship Service

As you enter the church, enjoy the pre-service music as you find a seat. Our order of service is printed in the bulletin and references our red Hymnal books. Each service is a unique worship experience, but generally follows this order:

Welcome and greeting from Pastor and any special announcements

We Come into the Presence of God

Opening hymn or song

Confession (spoken responsively)

Prayer and Praise

We Listen

First Reading

Psalm (sung responsively using the Hymnal)

Second Reading

Children's Message (toddler's through elementary school age children are welcome to come to the front of the church to hear a special message from our Pastor)

Please feel free to stay after the service to mingle. After the 8:30 service we have coffee and light snacks. Feel free to stay as our special guest and we hope to see you next week.
